Thank
you for supporting live music! Here's
where you can see me play, either solo, in a duo, or with the whole
band-that's the Susan Greenbaum band! The schedule below will be updated
regularly so the gig dates are current. I hope that one - or more!
-
of these shows might be at time when you'd like to join us for some
music and community.

We’re totally psyched to return to the JCCNV, where we had such a fantastic time last year! If you’re in NoVA this night, come on by, or tell your friends in the area about the show. Tickets for members are $15 in advance, $18 at the door; non-members are $18 in advance, $21 at the door. You can register for tickets (which I think means, buy or reserve them!) at http://www.jccnv.org/programList.asp?txtprogramid=1110.
Fri., Feb. 9...Gravity Lounge, 7 pm, 434-977-5590, CAROLE KING “TAPESTRY” reprise! Full band, non-smoking, $10. How wonderful of Bill Baldwin and everyone at Gravity to let us bring our “Tapestry” show to Charlottesville! We’ll do a set of originals and then the legendary album in its entirety. If you’d like to spend a romantic, pre-Valentine’s weekend in C’ville (and who wouldn’t?!), starting with our show, please check out the Inn at Court Square, just a few blocks’ walk to Gravity Lounge, with adorable, cozy rooms, special February rates and parking, too! Visit http://www.gravity-lounge.com for ticket info/directions, and http://www.innatcourtsquare.com for info on lodging.
Fri., Feb. 16...Babe’s of Carytown, 8-11, 355-9330, Auburn and Cary, full band, non-smoking in the music room, $5. Despite my full belly from delicious holiday food, I still (and always) have a hankerin’ (does that word ever have a g at the end? I think not!) for a Babe’s hamburger, and the fine hospitality of all the great folks who work there! Join us for the burger of your dreams...oh, and some pretty good music, too!
Sun., Feb. 18...We will perform at the Unitarian Universalist Church near Byrd Park, for a special musical service! What an honor! I’ll provide more details about this as we get them, but I’m pretty sure that services start at 9. Pretty sure. I’ll confirm everything for you, I promise! This is one really wonderful, inclusive, comfortable, loving place of worship. http://www.richmonduu.org.
Tues., Feb. 20...4th Annual CARITAS Celebrity Serve Dinner, again at beautiful Sine, 1327 E. Cary St. Congregations Around Richmond Involved to Assure Shelter is a great organization, and I’m proud to be serving for my fourth year, along with actual celebrities from around Richmond. Here’s how it works: You enjoy a delicious dinner, we wait on you hand and foot, you tip us generously, and ALL TIPS go to CARITAS. Pretty cool, huh? Call 358-0964 or email mail@caritasshelter.org for ticket info.
And, at 4:00 on Sun., Feb. 18, you will find no better way to spend your afternoon than by going to VCU’s Vlahcevic Concert Hall in the Singleton Center, to hear the amazing Tony Garcia and his band! Tony is a jazz trombonist in addition to being associate professor of music and director of jazz studies, VCU’s internationally acclaimed program! Tony is so awesome, and so is his singing wife, Maria! This is going to be an amazing concert; join me in the audience! Free, 4-6 pm. http://www.pubinfo.vcu.edu/calendar/detailEvent.asp?ID=38664
We’ll be back at Ashland on March 2, and back in Reston, VA on March 4. More on these shows as the winter turns to spring.
